Friday 17th March:
Lá Fhéile Pádraig:
6am: Dingle Fife and Drum Band March from Ashmount Terrace along traditional route including Mass in St Mary’s Church at 6.45am before continuing back to Ashmount.
12:45pm: St Patrick’s Day Parade – Bands, Floats, Vehicles, Clubs, Groups, etc. Starts from Ashmount Terrace through town via Main Street, The Mall, Bridge Street, Strand Street, The Pier returning via Green Street, Goat Street to finish at Ashmount Terrace.
1.30pm: Irish Dancing Display by Rinceoirí na Ríochta on stage at Holyground.
Saturday 18th March:
11:30am: Guided tour of An Díseart Gardens in Green Street.
12 noon: Guided tour of An Díseart Building in Green Street.
12.30pm: Ceol Am Lón at An Díseart Stage. Urraíocht ó Coiste Dúchas an Daingin.
2.30pm: Guided Walk/Talk through main Historical Sites in town. Meet at Fungie Statue The Pier.
5:00pm: CHEER ON the Irish Rugby Team. Big screen TVs in most premises.
7.30pm: CHEER ON Kerry Footballers vs Roscommon (On TV).
Sunday 19th March:
10:00am: GUIDED WALK on Coum/Garfinny Loop Route. Meet at Mart Car Park (Spa Road). Suitable Footwear and Clothing recommended – FREE.
10.30am: GUIDED WALK to Famine Graveyard in Chapel Lane. Meet at Mart Car Park (Spa Road) – FREE.
11.30am: Mass in St Mary’s Catholic Church (Green Street).
12 noon: Service in St. James’ Church of Ireland (Main Street).
All Weekend:
All Restaurants, Hotels, Cafés and Food Outlets open for lunch/dinner or takeaway meals. Prior booking recommended to avoid disappointment.
Sciuird Archeological Bus Tours of the Peninsula – 10am Daily. Prior booking essential Phone 087 419 8617.
Local Link Bus Trips available around Corca Dhuibhne Peninsula from bus stop at The Tracks. Feel free to explore the Peninsula and all of it’s treasures as most of the other amenities of the Peninsula are now back in business. Consider walking part of The Dingle Way and return to base with the local link bus.
Pitch and Putt, Soccer & Crazy Golf Centre Open 10am to 5pm. Dingle Aquarium open 10am to 4pm.
