24 April 2021Kerry County Council has now published details of the Outdoor Dining Grant Scheme, which we are administering on behalf of Fáilte Ireland, on our website. – https://www.kerrycoco.ie/outdoor-dining-enhancement-scheme/
The scheme is open to attractions, hotels, restaurants, cafes, public houses or other tourism and hospitality business establishments where food is sold for consumption on the premises.
A Section 254 licence is required where outdoor seating and accessories are on a public road/footpath. The links to download the S254 licence and the grant application form can be found on the link above. It is advised to submit S254 applications as soon as possible to establish what the exact requirements are. Please ensure applications are completed in full, accompanied by insurance details, dimensional drawings and pictures of proposed furniture/accessories.
